The aluminum ramp is fully covered by an awning with rain gutters, that also help deflect the melting snow and ice away from the property. We also put in a second ramp for egress (or fire escape) off the back of the home as well. Joining the two ramps, we laid a brand-new concrete walkway. At the top of the back ramp, there is a new set of French doors that we installed because they are ADA accessible, having replaced a sliding glass patio door.
