Barrier Free Plus, Inc. helps seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and families create safer, more accessible living environments throughout Southeast Michigan.
Our mission is to remove some of the challenges facing individuals with physical disabilities by creating barrier free living spaces that support safer, more independent living. We are committed to quality workmanship, thoughtful design, integrity, and customer satisfaction. We work with clients of all ages, along with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, case managers, and families, with the goal of providing accessibility solutions they can feel confident in.
Dave is President of Barrier Free Plus, a DBC Company. He has been a licensed residential builder for 25 years, with 10 years specializing in accessibility and home modifications for people with mobility needs.
Dave earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University.
He has also been active in his community and is a past president of the Bay Area Kiwanis Club. He believes strongly in volunteering and giving back to the communities Barrier Free Plus serves.
Joe is Vice President of Barrier Free Plus, a DBC Company. He has worked in the construction industry for 25 years, including eight years specializing in accessibility and home modifications for people with mobility needs.
Joe completed his builder licensing qualifications and Construction Management coursework at Macomb Community College.
A Gulf War veteran, Joe has a strong commitment to supporting veterans and giving back to his community. He has received congressional small business recognition for his community work and previously served as mayor of his community, where he helped establish its recognition as a Purple Heart City.
Joe and his wife, Tisha, have been married for more than 30 years. They have three children and three grandchildren.
